An easier và safer option (suggested by matt wilkie in the comments)(Source)

This is the result of Microsoft trying to protect users from malicious programs. The message will appear for any shortcut or executable that is hosted on a network share.

To resolve the issue, follow the below steps:

First, determine what VPS the shortcut is hosted on.

Open Internet Explorer.

Cliông xã Tools, then Internet Options.

Clichồng the ‘security’ tab.Once you are on this tab. Make sure you first click "Local Intranet", & then the "Sites" button. Clichồng it.

On the khung that is displayed, click ‘Advanced’.

You will be shown a danh sách of sites that are in the "Local Intranet"

To add your VPS lớn the menu. Type file://server where "server" is the name of your hệ thống, Click ‘Add’.

Clichồng OK, on the rest of the dialogs lớn get out of the settings for Internet Explorer.

You may have khổng lồ remove a stream attribute/tệp tin that is attached lớn your program you downloaded from the Internet. Microsoft adds that for your own protection.

Cheông xã for alternate data streams on the file by running dir /r:

Run it on your program (e.g., eclipse.exe) as follows:

Worked for me ... Move the exe file khổng lồ a non-ntfs volume (e.g. a USB flash drive sầu (FAT)), then move it back again.

IT seems to lớn be something to lớn vì with an NTFS property in the .exe file, which FAT does not have. So moving to a FAT drive removes it, and when moved baông xã the propoerty is gone!.
